Default Chrome Bumper Rust Removal Resto tip

Forgive if this subject has been discussed before. Also forgive the vehicle used for the tip. (My Vette has plastic bumpers) But I thought it'd help those with chrome bumpers, etc that need some surface rust removed. It's something I saw on YouTube and couldn't believe worked. I stand corrected! It's aluminum foil and diet Coke. Dip a small foil section into the Coke, give it a little elbow grease, and bye bye rust! I inherited a car from my Dad and tried it today after spending a good deal of time with Blue Magic yesterday. It took 1/4 the time to get twice as good results! Had to pass this along,

Wow, that's incredible! I would be curious as to whether the rust didn't come back within a short period of time or not. I suppose if you kept a good coat of wax on the bumper it might stay looking nice a bit longer...

I waxed it up good afterwards. Hope it seals it up and keeps the rust away.
