Repaint it the original "boring" trim tag color??? Or leave "AS IS" as an original piece of art??? Whoever did this paint must be a pretty interesting dude!
Or another LT-1 with the right rubber plug valve covers too
Paint is shot on green one. She has a great rack, but 1 swipe with a razor blade and she gets a double mastectomy. The red-whits one is tougher choose. Better paint condition and less over-the-top Frank Frazzetta murals. They belong in Harley gas tanks.
S'Up 20 Mercury......I may be able to drive over and see you in another month if the weather clears up for the Paint Shop to finish the door posts rearward.

You could pull up to any car cruise night in this and steal the show! Extra points for period fashion.....like a disco shirt and poly bellbottoms. People are starved for old school!!!
I’m great with keeping the 70s era wild custom paint jobs on some of the cars where the paint has held up, but that one is a mess and frankly, not very good. The nudie stuff is pretty tacky too, and that’s coming from someone who had a 68 with a Frank Frazetta painted on my L88 scoop, too. (Mine was more evil than naked, though, lol)
You can’t see her very well... she had the big scythe in her hand, lol.

Recognize this...…..
Looks like it is in much better shape having been in your possession for awhile than it was in my shop (which is not too surprising BTW!) LOL's!!!
Yes, by all means holler if you get over this way and always happy to see you!!! You are making better forward progress than me.
Where to start. The green one is hideous. it needs a full in/out restore, and who knows what the birdcage looks like.
The second one is not bad, dont care for the strips, but at least it presents well.
up to you and the wallet, and at the end of the day it is what makes you happy, not us.
If the paint was still good on the green one, I'd keep it as a period piece. But it's shot, so I'd go back to the Donnybrook Green, which is pretty sharp on a '70. Also this is a very early car (first month) from a limited run model year. Would be great restored.
