Remove the 4 screws in the shift console plate corners
That should give you enough room to lift the plate front and then slide it forward a little and free the back
Then lift the back enough to get at the bulb holder, it just clips into the metal PRNDL frame
push in and turn the bulb to free it
test the light
Install is the reverse
**** You may ****
Need to pull the parking brake lever back if the plastic slider bit is interfering with lifting the shift plate
If you need to lift the plate more and don't have AC, a 1/16" set screw holds the little plastic ***** on the floor vent sliders, loose them off to remove them and allow the plate to lift higher
The shifter button and know unscrew to remove them allowing the plate to lift
There is a ground wire on a tab connected to the plate IIRC
The lighter has a power wire and a light clipped to the side
Best I can do without finishing my coffee

fix right. I'll give it a try. Car has A/C if that matters..
Thanks again

Yes the bulb is barely lighting the PRNDL in the first place so if it fell out even partially it'll hardly be doing anything at all (only partially the reason I made mine digital

AC just means you won't have the two little levers to remove so that'll save a step
