Has anyone run different size wheels (front and back) on their c3? I recently updated suspension with RideTech and can now fit a 10" wide 18" Torque Thrust II wheel on the rear. Appears that there is a much larger tire selection available for 18's. Any advise?
Gordon, what brand tires are you running? Did you have trouble finding 17 and 18 tires of the same brand and style?

I am running Nitto NT05 on the rears and will purchase them for the front once I get everything on the LS swap ready to go. I run the NT05s on the Cobra all around. Not concerned with tread wear at all as I burn the rears up and the fronts take abuse in the corners. I will probably run NT01s next as they are softer and better for autox
As for running square on all 4 corners I like bigger in the rear for traction. The max without flares is about 255, not enough rubber in the rear, I run 315s in the rear of the cobra and can light them up easily in all gears. You need a wide soft tire if you have a lot of power.

Like Gordo, I need the added traction of a wider tire in the rear. Which is why I am considering the 18" diameter 10" wide TT2 in addition to better tire selection. Looking at the Nitto NT05, It sounds like a drag tire. I would like a tires more for track use like Michelin Pilot SS on my 2015 Z06, but they aren't made for the C3 wheel sizes that I am looking for. As you guys probably know, the RideTech suspension has offset trailing arms that allow an additional 2" rear wheel size. TT2's come in 17"x9.5"wide or 18"x10"wide configurations. So there is my dilemma, What's the best course of action to take advantage of the 750 hp Dart engine and the RideTech suspension now in the Blue 69.
