Default Hobby Car Corvette

I currently have a C6, but am in the market for a C3 (1980 or 1981).
Hobby Car Corvettes seem to have a nice selection, but wondering if anyone has experience dealing with them. They are about a 6 hour drive, so didn't want to get there to be disappointed
thanks for any info

Their advertising is misleading. Their website lists that they sell 1982 C3's. But, their inventory usually reflects exactly zero '82's in stock. Out of sheer curiosity and because I was in the market for an original ‘82 I once asked them what was driving this advertising discrepancy and was met with a surprisingly venomous 'that is none of your damn business' response. Wow.
I found my ‘bucket list’ C3 on Craigs List, instead.
