13 digit VIN?
How does anyone find any information on a car that had a 13 digit VIN? I had a '74. Everything I look up asks for the "16" digit VIN. There has to be a way. What if a car of that vintage is stolen, and the police need the VIN to identify the car? I went down to my local police station and they put in my 13 digit VIN and came up with nothing. I put the 13 digit VIN in Carfax, and it wouldn't accept it. What do you guys do?
