Default Pics of 73's without rear bumpers

Anyone have any pictures of 1973 vettes without the rear bumpers? Looking to see if I like the look. I'm not wild of the rubber front with chrome rear bumpers.

That’s what’s unique about a 73 and looks great... Please don’t change it. If you want to see what it would look like have a look at photos of a 74...

I know the rubber front/ chrome rear is what makes them unique, but that's not what I like. I'm a chrome bumper vette person. But since I can't find a 68-72 to fit my need, I may, and only may go with a 73 body. I'm not interested nor worried about it being a numbers correct/ NCRS . Just looking for some pictures to see if I like it.

Not a '73, but should give you an idea at any rate...

Chrome bumper cars are not remotely rare and not terribly expensive, particularly the coupes.

If that’s what you like, don’t settle for a ‘73 and then try to make it work. Be patient and get the car you want.

Generally, settling for the wrong car costs you more in the long run. Ask me how I know.

"Larry" is actually a '76, but we modified the body to make it look like a '73 because I really like that year. I have rear bumpers and planned on putting the on, but I got used to how it looks without them on.

It's his car, he can do what he wants with it.
No big deal if he changes it to what he likes.
It's not like he's ruining a rare car. Geez

And then we have the poster above that made a 76 look like a 73. His choice, he owns it.

Have you thought of going to the chrome front bumper clip seeing how you like the chrome bumpers ?

Personally I think a 73 is the best looking C3. I like the combo of smooth front and and 68-73 rear. imo removing the rear bumperettes makes it even better.

Making a 73 “clone” out of a 74-77 takes very little effort. My 75 with the treatment is a 25 footer. It’s show and tell every time I drive the car.

I plan to paint my 73 black, retain the rear bumpers, but paint them black to match the body.
I love the cleaner lines of the 73's front bumper and also love the rear, but the chrome rear bumpers throw me off a bit, so I hope to blend them in with the non chrome front end.
I think it may be the best of both worlds.
It would also depend on the color of the car.
A white 73 with white bumpers, No Way!

Thanks all for your pictures and input. The reason I was looking for pictures was just to see how I liked the look. I have a lead on a 73 which I'm not sure if I want to take on . Do the look go with the bumper, yes. Do the look good without, yes. I'm just getting ideas.

I agree ... I like the chrome bumpers better and I would not settle for a 73 --- there's a bunch of 68-72s out there. I am not a fan of the 73 -- I'd prefer a full rubber bumper to a 73. Just wait for the car you like.
