I have a Sniper I am going to install on my 502. I have the whole setup, gas tank with pump, Sniper distributor, coil and ignition box. And of course the fuel injection setup.
Any tip[s on the install.
Take your time and understand the directions. Double and triple check electrical connections. I had a couple of wires switched and that caused much grief. Also, when I attached the plastic pickup tube that runs to the bottom of the tank to the fuel pump I didn't get a good tight connection. That resulted in pulling the tank and removing the pump. I had to heat up the tube with a heat gun and tighten the clamp to get the leak to quit. This is on a 1974 zz502 along with the hyperspark..

The same setup as mine. A ZZ502. Did it run better.
I first installed the sniper on my old 502HO that had the 3X2's. I did that to get the bugs ironed out before dropping in the new ZZ. I can say that it was a night and day difference on the earlier engine. Maybe the old setup wasn't operating at it's full potential but I had never had any problems with the three duces. I'm running a TKO 600 and it's a beast.
