After the cable leaves the connector above the alarm horn, it enters the cabin through a very large Grommet. My 73 is a convertible and the cable then follows the rear lights routed above the drivers side wheel hump, then down under the sill plate where it goes behind the drivers side kick plate. It runs above the plastic air duct, the below the speed/tach, and then above the radio where it plugs in on the passenger side.
