Drove my baby to work today.... had several people waving on the drive in, when I had to badge in at the gate (I work on an AF base), the guard told me what a beautiful car I have. Man, am lucky to have this car, love it!
Drove mine in after lunch yesterday and had a member on my team overhear a different coworker talking about my car. He pointed out to that worker that I was the owner and the other guy wandered over to have a conversation about my car. He was an older guy so he remembers the '70s well and couldn't get over how cool my custom car would have been rolling the streets back then. That was pretty cool to hear.

It looks fantastic! I love the color.
I totally understand. I drove my 68 in this morning. There is nothing like driving over the floating bridge into Seattle on a beautiful sunny summer day!
My car hasn’t moved an inch since it arrived to my apartment parking garage a month ago and i’ve lost count of the number of people who have stopped to talk to me whilst working on it. Got to know more of my neighbours in a month than in the 4 years i’ve lives here. The concierge in my building even said a bunch of people even asked him if it was for sale. It’s those curves.

Guys, I'm not sure exactly what color blue it is. The car is a 76 and I can't seem to find a color for that year that matches. Maybe someone with a better eye and knowledge of those colors might help? I wanted to get a touchup pen or something but didn't really nail down what color she is. I may ask the guy I bought it from, but he had all his work done for him apparently, gave me all kinds of receipts, but only generally knowledgeable about the car. The corvette shop that did all his work gave me a ton of insight on the work done, so I have a really good idea on where the mechanical state of the car was/is.
Thanks for the compliments, I am a longtime Mustanger (gasp), have a 66 Fastback that I've had for over 25 years in the garage next to this one. I absolutely love both cars!

Beautiful car!
It probably wouldn't even have to run - you could just push it somewhere and people will still give you compliments!
Couple of years ago I had a kind of spectacular carb problem and had to pull it in a parking lot quickly. I had gas all over everything and my brother was standing next to me with a fire extinguisher ...... and I had two young guys working nearby come over to tell me how cool it was, ask how many HP it makes, and how many camshafts it has (??!) .
