I've been struggling to find any good resources for the engine wiring. I bought my first Corvette, an '81 C3, in the past week. A decidedly uninformed purchase, but it's too late now.
I've been looking around the engine compartment and found a wiring harness with four disconnected connectors. The only thing connected is a ground to the Edelbrock intake manifold and what I assume to be the air intake temp sensor in the manifold. The sensor looks like it should be replaced, but I'm also wondering what is missing/not connected.
Those connectors are part of the original CCC system. Which had a computer controlled carb with electronic advance on the distributor. Seems like the carb and distributor have been replace so these are no longer required. There should be a couple of 6pin plugs near the rear of the engine on the passenger side you can use to remove this unnecessary wiring.
