Default Headlight sensor hardware.

I need the nuts that hold the headlight sensors in place on my 72. This is for the small switch that tells you the doors are open.

I'm not sure about the exact size but they should be standard hardware store items. Be very careful when installing because they are quite fragile because only half of the threaded portion is actually attached to the switch body.

I looked in Home Depot. Couldn't find the right one. It is a standard 3/8 thread size and I have used a 3/8 nut on it but it doesn't look right. It looks like the thin metal nuts from the brake light switch or a toggle switch.

The thin ones are called "jam nuts" or at least up here they are. Mainly used behind a regular nut to "jam" them to prevent backing off.
Might have to check with a nut/bolt place or maybe a napa
