Found this hidden gem the other day. Personally I have never seen this type of conversion before. Has the C-6 tail lights and exhaust. Thinking if I could get the hood open I would find a Z-06 engine. The owner of the tow yard was glad I had an interest, and asked me to make an offer. Not really interested in another project, I have too many now. The interior is all Chevy truck and is perfect and a nice Grant steering wheel is on the column. The engine I am told has a rod thru the passenger side of the block. Bummer. I kind of like it.

Malibu Boats and Chevrolet came out with this model to help promote the new Corvette.
It was really nice and had the Corvette engine modified for marine use.
The add actually showed their boat being towed by a Corvette.
It was even mid engine!

My local Malibu dealer in Ventura CA had one it was beautiful.
I just picked up my new Response so I couldn’t get the Corvette, but it had many options I didn’t need or want in a ski boat.
I kept my Malibu for 19 years. Great ski boat.
