1971 Emergency flasher switch misbehaving.
Anyway...
Now my emergency flasher switch is not working correctly. Push the **** in and the flashers come on, but I can't pull it out to turn them off. The **** will lock in. Pulled the wheel again to look at the switch. On the inboard side of the switch is a small plastic part that when pushed in, the **** will release and the flashers turn off. Looks to me like maybe there might be a cam connected to the wheel that actuates this. I'm missing something here. In the mean time I've reassembled the wheel and will not turn the emergency flashers on until I get a fix. Any ides?
TIA
Russ
Edit: Did I read somewhere that the flashers are supposed to come on when you pull the **** and off when pushed in? Mine are opposite.
