I looking at a 74 Corvette. It does not have the rubber front bumper or the rubber back bumper. the back is just one piece and doves down like a vette should and the front is just one piece, Is this correct? everything I am finding says a 74 should have a rubber back bumper and a front rubber bumper.

The 74 should have the molded urethane impact resistant bumpers on the front and rear. Original 74 rear bumpers were two piece with the split in the center. A one year only design. The rear bumpers were one piece starting in 75. If the one you are looking at has a one piece rear, it is an aftermarket replacement. See pics!

Are the bumpers missing? Or does it look like a normal 74 but bumper seam is missing. Some people when replacing orig bumpers with fiberglass ones glass and bodywork the seam to make it not visible.

Those are glass, not urethane bumpers. You can see the bodywork seam on car's left front with the light angle. Not a terrible job. Live wirh it. You mess with one spot, next thing you have repaire all over. Painter says he will have it done in 2 months. Next year he will say 2 months...
