I still need an electric choke for my qjet (running headers and performer intake with blocked off crossover).
I found these products on Ebay and Amazon... They are cheap and look the same as the more expensive kits sold on Ebay.
The cheap choke even has the same number on the sticker, so I'm almost sure it's the same electric choke kit.
The connector is sold on Amazon and it seems it is the 'L-shaped' style.
Your call.
MAde in China, not even a mfr name on it. Wanna roll the dice?
IS the seller a company owner or just someone/middleman using Amazon to make a buck? Warranty?
I believe on a Vette I'd want a stronger ground than that.
How?
If the engine is strapped to the frame and the frame is strapped to the battery, what is better than that?
It is how all one wire chokes are.....on any car....and any old car should have an engine ground strap.

Too many variables. Yes the engine is grounded to the frame, or should be, but the carb is mounted on a gasket which is an insulator so you depending on the threads of the rear two mounting bolts to provide the ground. I would run a dedicated ground off the carb but my choke has both terminals so it's not a problem for me.

Carb grounds through the studs. Works every time....just did one on a 65’ Wildcat old AFB....if you are worried just run a separate ground wire off the housing to the engine/intake.
