Hi guys, almost ready to put in the BBC with the Muncie from the sbc and auto. Does anyone have a template or specific location where I will need to cut to allow for the Muncie stick and travel in the cockpit? Don’t want to be just cutting holes!
I must be missing something..? The only hole ( approx 2 in) in the hump is for the cable. Are you saying the hurst shifter is going to fit through there and be able to shift...nah...pic attached.
I assume you already have the 4 speed. If not, I have the complete setup that I removed when I went to a 5 speed. M20 tranny, stock shifter, clutch and pressure plate, and driveshaft. Interested?
would help if you had posted the year of your car , there not all the same.
in your pic theres a bulge/depression further back , where your auto shift mechanism sat , on the earlier vettes that area was cut out for the 4 speed shifter , if the car was made with an auto , a rubber seal was put over the hole and the auto shifter bolted on top.
