Default coach built C3 bodies

May be off topic but here are two c3's that i rebodied. I'm the desighner and builder of both cars and this is a hobby for me.
The silver car was a 74 t top car and the primer car is a 78. The silver car is all aluminum and the primer car is steel.
The aluminum car is like a go cart. 2600 lbs with 415 hp/5spd. Hope you guy's enjoy seeing somthing different. Ray in Oregon

WOW! Any photos of the build process? I'm always fascinated by the craftsmanship involved in building from scratch. As an engineer, I appreciate the artform and the mechanics of it all. Nice work!!!

Default Copying the Greats is not really a compliment.

Sorry, this is not what you wanted to hear.....Counterpoint!

Great skills in fabrication , for sure. Impressive! Tremendous amount of work and attention to (some) detail(s).

A C- for ripping off Pete Brock's 60 year old design for the Daytona Coupe'
And Cunninghams 60+ year old roadster...

Sorry, I'm an Industrial Designer....I call it plagiarism.

Further mentioning that this is the C-3 forum....I truly hope that you bought a couple of wrecked ones.

You obviously have the skills to do something cool and original....but didn't.

Ray-

WOW-nice work.

Skills in both aluminum AND fiberglass- that's impressive.

Not off topic at all. Would love to see you post up pics of the work- and more pics of the aluminum roadster!!!

You are extremely talented and both cars are masterpieces.
My only criticism is I would have like to seen more Corvette design influence and less Ford influence.
Otherwise very well done and thanks for sharing.

I would say more Ferrari inspired than ford. Very impressive that they are metal and not fiberglass. Congratulations on an excellent job

Cool looking cars. The only thing that matters is do you like the build and do you DRIVE them!!! I get the part of some not liking them but they don’t own ‘em. To each his own. What I wanna know is what’s up with that tiny truck and camper in the 3rd pic........

Hello, I drive the crap out of them. The primer car will be the wife's

There designs are cars from a certain era that i enjoy and blend it all together.
The little trucks and trailers are yard art that i make for fun. Sorry not C3 friendly.........................Ray

I'm digging the silver one and I don't generally like re-bodied cars.

I'd love to see some in-progress pics of the build, if available.
