seat belts
having trouble with my seatbelts on a 1976 stingray. the drivers side was working but now it won't pull up from under the seat. the passenger side wasn't working at all but now it is periodically. should I just remove the seats and replace with new ones or is there a fix

If they are the original belts, I believe there are some companies that will repair the retractors. If the belts are nasty you may want to get new ones and move on. My replacement drives belt retractor broke and I sent it back to the manufacturer in Florida to be repaired, one of the many repairs that I had to do twice. What a pain having to, remove the seat and cover, then reinstall.
