rally wheels
will the rally wheels from a 70's Chevelle fit my 81? is the offset and backspacing the same? Found a set but don't want to pull the trigger until I'm sure I can use them.

Ask the seller if they are 15x8 with a 4" backspace.

he says they are 15 X 8 but he doesn't know the backspacing.

then he should measure it. Measure the distance from the mounting surface to the inside lip of the flange.

Sure about that? I seem to recall Chevelles were 15 x 7. Only C3's were 15 x 8.

they are 15 X 8, maybe he put Corvette rally wheels on his Chevelle which would be what I want.

FWIW: All 15x8 Corvette rally wheels are coded AZ. Ask the seller for the code on his wheels.
