My car seems to drive nice and tight but... After it is warmed up I notice a squeak/whine sound from the front of the car/engine bay when driving slowly (starts at 5 mph then gets louder/faster till 30 and goes away). It sounds exaclty like a squeaky farm windmill (like a slow circular squeak that repeats every cycle). I think it is too slow to be the tire revolution or fan (not 100% sure as tires are big/meaty). Unfortunately popping the hood in park doesnt help (only makes sound when driving). I also think it is to loud to be the spedometer cable squeaking.
I really wish I had some more specific information I just can't even seem to place where the sound is coming from. Has anybody else had anything similar happen? Maybe when I get the GM recommended matienence done (lube) this winter the isue will just go away.
I had some weird squealing coming from my belt's pulleys only when I gave it some gas. Turns out they were loose from when I did the fan and some front end engine work. Not my brightest moment.
