Default 1978 alternator code
I am looking at a alternator that has a code Org WP Ink stamp Dated 78H08.
Is this the proper code for a 1978 anniversary edition built august 22, 1978? I thought they only used one number for the year?

Your're good!

Early C3s typically used a single digit for the year code while later used two-digit year codes. The attached photo is from Pace Car 6502...78E04
