Default Shorty headers for 1981 corvette

Hi, obviously from the title, I'm looking for some short tube headers for my 81 corvette. I heard that short tubes are easier to install than long tubes but I can't seem to find any from my searches. Anyone have any experience with this?
thanks

Best quality short tube headers, Sanderson.
Call Donna, she’s been with the company forever and she really knows her stuff regarding headers and performance.

Shorty's are likely easier in that they are easier to maneuver into place. I'm not sure what you got going on in your engine bay but I've removed just about everything from my 80 that doesn't make it either go or stop. The passenger side is pretty open and makes for easy installation but getting headers in from above or in from below on the driver side is pretty cramped from my experience. That side has the steering box, alternator, brake stuff, and vacuum stuff if you have that.

I just finished an install of patriot shorty tight tuck headers which I would advise against. They're a bit too tight and while they open up some space in the engine bay I had to spend some time re-routing wires and ground straps that were going to the bottom end of the engine which was a pain.

If Sanderson doesn't have what you're looking for, you could also check out 'McJacks'....
