Just picked up a master cylinder from Ecklers for my non-power brake '68. Included was a "Label, 67-79 TG M/CYL BAIL". I'm not familiar with this label.
What is it and where does it go?
That label/decal was normally installed on the rear bail. These labels/decals were used in many places and parts so the assembly line worker could easily distinguish the correct code to be installed on the Corvette from its RPO build sheet.
Looks like I have the wrong decal. I should have a "YA" sticker for non-power brakes. I'll correct this. Thanks again.
BTW, what is the source of this info? Is it a restoration manual, and where can I get a copy?
Looks like the first two photos (interpon) were Googled from the Richard Prince 68-82 Restoration Guide, not sure on the last photo. Here are two very good sources for you to purchase. The Prince book is usually sold in many book stores. But the NCRS TIM&JG is sold on the NCRS website Store. Some Corvette Vendors also sell the NCRS Judging Manuals.
Hope this helps!
