Default frame rust treatment

Hello,
Has anyone ever used the Eastwood rust treatment product on their rusty frames? If not, what is your recommendation for dealing with frame surface rust on your car?

Scott,
Body on, or body off...? In order for the products to work well, you should remove as much rust as you can. I used a product called Evaporust and countless wire wheels to remove the rust from the frame. I didn't use the Eastwood system. Ended up using Epoxy prime and top coated with GM chassis black. I have pictures posted on my member page if you are interested in checking it out. Best of luck with your project.

I've never used the Eastwood frame products but I like what they offer, in particular the sprays for inside the frame that you can't clean.

I wire wheeled my entire frame and coated it with POR 15. It is a good product but you'll need to follow the prep instructions carefully. For small parts like nuts and bolts I've used Evaporust and I am happy with the results. I've also used Eastwood Rust Converter. Not too impressed with the Eastwood product. It seems to stay wet for a long period of time and overlap onto areas that are not rusted does not work very well.
