Speedometer replacement

Is there a replacement speedometer for the 80 -82 Vette that reads higher than 85 mph ? Thanks for any help.

78 and most 79's had a 140 mph speedo. It is a direct replacement.

I sent my speedo into Corvette Instrument Service in Florida. 120 bucks to get it refaced to a 165.
They calibrated it and were super helpful and communicative.
I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Keep in mind that is not simply a straight-plate replacement. As noted, it must be calibrated to accurately register the correct travel speed.

I sent my 85mph speedo to Redline Gauge to have re-faced to 140 mph and also re-calibrated. I think they also re-face to 165mph if that is what the customer wishes. Price was very reasonable and I got the speedo back in just a few days. You may want to check them out. I was 100% happy with their work. After getting the gauge back I double checked the calibration and it was dead on. Good luck.
