The father of one of the guys that works in our Corvette department owned a few Corvettes back in the late 60s and 70s. One was possibly a 1968 L88 convertible that he bought used in 1969 here in Rochester. He was just wondering if it is still around and if so would like to see it if possible. He has a paper with the vin 194678S414757 but there is nothing that shows what options it had. We have searched the web and registry with no luck. The only thing we can think is that it was wrecked or is in a private collection and never sold online. He has no idea where it was sold to after it was traded in on a family car in the mid-70s. Any help would be appreciated and if you do own this car you can send me a direct message if you are more comfortable with that. He knows it's a long shot and isn't even positive that the family stories of it being an L88 are even true. He just would like to know that one of his dad's car is still around.
Thanks
