A year or so ago there was a gorgeous 57 Chevy convertible black with red interior that was popping up on occasion on Craigslist in different cites at a ridiculous price. I emailed the seller asking for a phone number and the location of the car. They said it was in NJ and if I sent them the purchase price they would ship me the car with a 30 day money back guarantee. I figured it was a scam from the beginning but once they said NJ I was 100% positive (I am a NJ native)

Do a google reverse image search before even responding.
Had a persistent one come close to getting me for a few k yrs ago.
Finally got him on the phone sure enough some foreign punk kid who barely spoke english, hung up kept on emailing anyways.
People that only email/text and cant speak on the phone are almost always timewasters period.
