Pulled the diff to be rebuilt on the 76. Checked the code while I had it out: OA W0 48 E1. I understand this to mean: OA= 3.08 1976, W= Warren plant, 048 Julian date= Feb. 17, E= Eaton, 1= shift?
The car is an early 76 (#141759) built in December of 75. The build date is supported by features like the early radiator support. The diff date must indicate the diff was built Feb. 17, 1975, ten months before the car was assembled. Anybody else seen this?
