ASK WILLCOX !?
I tested my wiper motor per willcox youtube video, and everything tested fine...i also tested my switch per there test and came up good. but i had a bad ground at the switch. so i ran a ground wire from the switch too the body ground. now with the motor mounted too the car and plugged in too the new wiring harness all i get is a click coming from the relay in the console and the motor gets warm? i ran a ground wire too the motor with no change. it seems too be a ground issue? but were? could it be the relay? if it is clicking, i would think it would work? so, guys whats your thoughts?

theres a switch at the firewall that completes the path to ground when the wiper door is all the way open. The wiper motor is grounded to the fan for ground, and the override switch under the das has to be in the correct position to connect the path to ground. The 68 is a one year wiper motor and the wiring diagram reflects it. Lookk for willcoxs wiring diagram
The click is good because that means the relay is connecting. make sure the wiper door is open all the way and that switch on the firewall is depressed all the way
Theres a troubleshooting addendum in the AIM. Willcox has that listed as well

are you talking about this switch?
if so, i forgot all about this! my door and vent are not mounted right now. but all my vacuum lines and wiring is. so does the switch need to be pressed or released too allow the circuit too be completed? i am going too willcox again and look for the diagram....thanks troy
Yes it has to be depressed. If it’s not installed you can get 2 male blade connectors and just make a jumper
got that one figured out. It was not depressed all the way! Now on too the under dash switch, that had no ground? I grounded it and now I have low speed only with a clicking. Were is there suppose too be a ground on this dash bracket?
They won't answer wiper motor questions. I tried to follow their test procedure on my dad's car, and had a few questions, so I sent an email. The reply was 'we don't answer wiper motor questions'.

that sucks! I know it can be frustrating for them at times. But a little info goes a long way.
Well, I grounded my wiper switch because my gauge bezel was cracked and repaired. So the switch was not getting grounded. I found the ground wire for the under dash bracket and attached that properly. Adjusted the cowl door switch too compress the switch properly. And everything seems too work now. I have high an low speeds now. Thanks for all the help guys. And thank you WILLCOX for great videos and instructions on your site! Troy
This is driving me crazy! I was all set! I was adjusting the arms too stay on the glass, and the motor quit working?! Relay is clicking my grounds are good at the over ride. And my door switch is fine. So now what ? I disconnected the battery and am letting it sit for a while? I am at a loss. HELP !

With that switch in the run position, take a white paint pen and mark the front with a dot or line so that if it gets turned you an look down and see it easily
