Good Day to all. I am fortunate to have met Clyde Hensley who offered the 74 Twin Turbo Greenwood Widebody built by Bob Larson, Greenwood widebody modified by Dave Schilk (very recently passed), 80 rear window, exhaust side covers are Bob Larson's own design. The twin turbo driveline is a 4-bolt 350 engine, balanced and blueprinted by Carl Holbrook of Holbrook racing fame, ported and polished heads, so many more of the historical giants of Detroit worked to put this one back on the road. Only 1 mile on the engine and drive train as the entire car was rebuilt in 1977. Since it's arrival here in CA, MSD ignition, RoadTech front and rear coilover suspensions, FITech Fuel Injection Go Port EFI550-1050 HP System SBC, FiTech Force Fuel System, Fuel Force and detailing of course. (images show original Holly Flow Through system, now replaced)
Welcome to our nightmare and passion. You have a very interesting '74 and I'm guessing very fast. It certainly will challenge the purists among us, but hey as long as you like it that's all that matters.
Welcome from down under.

Welcome to the C3 Forum. Your car has a lot of history "built into it". If you have pics of the work as it was being done to the car, that would be great.
Thank you and I have already heard from a few opinionated purists. That is fine, passions are as varied as there are drivers. This one is mine. Cheers
Who cares what they think...I dont see anyone going into some thread with an obviously nicely restored/stock car and ripping it apart.
That is a pretty unique piece you got only seen 1 other with that tailight treamtent. Dig that 70/80s stuff lots here do.
Are those rajay turbos?
I think it looks great .
The colour suits it's modified shape nicely , also love the rear light treatment .
Are they still the round rear lights behind or something differant ?
Hi, the only one that cares how it looks should be and is me. I appreciate comments and understand the Vette purist position well. i used to be one in the 80's. Had a C4 then. The twin turbos are Bob Larson's original design (1st inductee into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame in Dearborn). He started with a totaled 74' in 77' so he could fully utilize his Custom turbo design without concern about Smog regs. The lakers are Bob Larson's own design too. Thank you for your words, means alot.
Thank you and the history is thick and deep. I have been trying to get build pics from those related to the crews involved but all of the original crew has passed and the heirs have little access to old stuff. I expect pics if any will just dribble in. All the ones I have are pretty much in finished mode.
Was that car on a recent episode of American Pickers?
yes it is the same one. Took over 4 months to track it down as AMERICAN Pickers do not share their contacts. Marshal Motors near Dearborn know Clyde Hensley and offered to list it on web. I was fortunate to see it the 1st morning after it was posted. Called Marshals and they put me in touch with Clyde. It was a deal about 15 min into call. Best call I have made in decades. Clyde’s story could fill a full season of American Pickers!!!
