1981 brake calipers
I just recently purchased a 1981 c3 and I’m replacing the complete steering system, gear box, power steering valve, hydraulic ram and all the power steering lines. What a PIA I have bent my first pitman arm puller trying to get it off. The power steering valve took hours to get it off. What I’m interested in is replacing the brake calipers there are so many options out there. What is the difference between the lip seal and o ring. I want stainless steel lined. Where is the best place to get them.

Buy a FIRE extinguisher and a handheld propane "torch" . After you install the puller heat the joint with the torch. Shield all flammable nearby hoses, fiberglass, fuel lines & tank, etc from ALL torch heat.
