New Intake?
What would be the best budget intake over my current stock one for my '72? Looking at adding some power along with the new headers I bought. Maybe a new carburetor is in order instead?

Yes, go with a 2101 Edelbrock Performer intake. Looks good and wieighs less. Don't know if it does much more than that without other mods.

I am building an new 406 SBC for my 77, and therefore parting out my 350. I have a beautiful Edelbrock Performer RPM Quadrajet intake manifold. Selling it for $150. I can send pictures if interested. It works with either Quadrajet or Holley. Google it and you will see its a great performance enhancement over stock or the Performer. I will say you have to use a drop base air cleaner to make it fit on a 77, which is the same hood as 73 -79. Let me know.
