Default Body Offset from rear wheels

The back wheels on my '69 are offset from the body and I was wondering where I should look to address the issue - would it be the body itself needs to shift or a problem in the frame or mechanical? Passenger's side sticks out about an inch and driver is in about the same. Front is fine.

Wheels are 15x8 Rallys.

Presumably it drives alright ?
check the gaps between the tyres and body

Main place to check is under the door sill panell
Open both doors , remove your kick panel , down where your feet sit ,then remove the 4 screws that hold the alloy trim on . Underneath that you should see two holes that have a red plastic plug in them , look straight down those holes and you should see the ground ! The frame has two holes (top and bottom ) so the idea is all 3 line up perfect ! That's the way it was done at the factory ,

If they don't line up ,there's your answer , if they do then your chassis has a problem.

Those rear control arms could also be out of adjustment as well as the diff may have some wear in it or the output shafts. Have the toe and caster and camber checked. The I would check the rear end for play.
