I would say that LOTS of people have changed to composite springs (we are talking C3s right?)
Improved ride quality
Lighter (which really helps the install)
Different rates available
not a lot of drawbacks other than having to watch where the exhaust runs (they need a certain amount of space)
and they don't like impacts (anything from jacks, cables, tie-downs etc)
I've had one one for over 20 years and I'm installing another this winter (different ride height)
