Default Spare tire lock
Bought a 71. Just wondering if there is suppose to be a separate key for the spare tire lock. The oval one I have does not work it but it does open the doors. Thanks

I thought it was the oval/door one. Mine is.

On my '71, it's the oval key that is used for the spare tire lock and glove box.
The square key is used for the ignition and door locks.
Page 3 of the owners manual.

My 69 is the same. Square key is for ignition and door locks.
