Has anyone installed a Borgeson power steering conversion in a 1968 corvette with telescopic steering column. If so when you shorten the column, what do you do with the spring washer a plastic spacer and clamp at the end of the shaft?I am having an issue once the shaft is shortened there is no room for all these items. Thanks
My 69 got the Borg upgrade, but knowing that the 68 and 69 columns a very different when I had to rebuild the column in the 6t8 [non telescopic] it had similar stuff that found its way to the garbage can. T
