What Makes This Rare Barn Find 1968 Corvette Vintage Race Car Cool

  • Original and Unmolested from 1977
  • Original 1970s style paint and wheel flares
  • Has the real L88 big-block dry-sump engine from the 1970s
  • Still has the original Muncie 4-speed transmission
  • Came with the original SCCA log book and paperwork
  • Raced at Riverside Raceway in the 1970s
  • Bought from the original owner, Mark Smith, who bought it new in 1968
  • Set up by legendary racer Dick Guldstrand
  • Still wearing the original CA plates last tagged in 1973!
  • Mechanically gone through and back on the road after 20+ year
Nice

There wasn't. But they had to write a number that was less than the displacement...
