You all have been great and I appreciate allowing me to piggyback on this one, amazing information.
I ordered a gauge plate with standard radio from Willcox and now I am thinking I should have ordered a DIN style.
Have to give Tommy a call.
Thanks to you all.

Yep...DIN adaptor plate ($20), Kenwood media stereo ($110), Sony front speakers ($40) and Polk Audio book shelf speakers ($120) in the back. Works great and is loud enough for me and my turbo mufflers.

was expensive to ship back for repairs and was over a month before i got it back.
aux input eventually failed, it didn't respond mp3 input,
i asked them about replacement circuit boards, but they no longer stock them and the new ones wont work in the unit i have.
but unit is still in the dash for looks.

i went remote Kenwood BTKAC-M1824BT amp mounted up under the dash and haven't looked back.

pre BlueTooth. was an early model, no amp outlets either...

I bought an AAR Bluetooth unit straight from mfg. for my 76. Added polk audio speakers and everything works and sounds great. It has been about 3 months.

Hey, good afternoon. I was just reading a post you had back on February 21, 2020 regarding a new bluetooth vintage style radio for your vette from Vintage Auto Radio. Did you ever buy it and are you happy with the unit and it's performance?
Thanks
Jason
