Sorry, kind of new to the C3.... Car is a 72 Auto. It's a tank underneath the vacuum tank in the inner left fender. Seems to have a vac connection and also to steel lines running under the car.

It's more commonly called the vapor canister. They no longer make replacements for '73 and older C3s. They do still make replacements for '74 and up and you can use them as a replacement if need be. The difference is the '74 and older canisters only have two connections, one to the tank and one to the base of the carb. The '73 and earlier had three connections - tank, tee at PCV, vacuum port on carb.
