Default 69 Floor Mats

Hello to all. I am looking to purchase Loop style floor mats for my 69. I see that both ACC and Lloyds offer the loop style. So my question is, if they are basically the same as to quality and construction? Is anyone familiar with backside of the mat and how they are in are held securely in place. The Lloyds are quite a bit less expensive so it got me wondering about any differences. Any recommendations?

I have Lloyds in my '70.
They have some type of rubber backing, once they are in place, I have not had an the issue of them moving.
However, they do have two grommets that they could be secured with but I dont see the need.
I recommend the Lloyds with the embroided logo...

I purchased the loop mats from ACC for my 73. For a car that gets driven once every two weeks, you can’t believe how bad the driver side mat is wearing. Also the new loop carpet that I installed from them is not very good either. I was going to buy the Lloyd’s Mats, but found some wool mats from a company called Cocomats.com. They are more expensive than ACC or Lloyds. For a dollar they will send a sample of the material, along with the actual mat pattern. My 88 FIERO had Lloyd’s mats and they were way to large. The Coco mats are the same size as the OEM Pontiac mats, that came with the car. I am going to get a set of wool Coco Mats for my Vette because the ACC mats are a joke! The mats in my daily driver are 100 times better than the ACC crap!

I have Lloyd’s mats in my ‘77 and love them. As mentioned above, they come with grommets in them and mine came with plastic hooks that screw into the carpet to hook the grommets to. I didn’t install the hooks. Well built, good quality and they fit really nicely.

I don’t have a good pic of them, but will try to post an edit with pics as soon as I get a chance.

I find that the passenger side mat very poorly cut.......look at the yellow arrows to see what I am talking about.
I am quite surprised that Lloyds makes such poorly cut mats that do not fit properly.
I would have returned them immediately.
