Because of the current situation in Belgium (Covid19) I have to stay inside... So the only things I can do right now are playing drums, gaming and working on my 77 C3.
I already bought transmission fluid (dexron 3) and a new aluminum pan with drain plug and gasket for the th350. But it seems I also need a new filter...
I prefer Wix filters. With the added filters on the Summit website I still get 4 different results.
Are there more then one type of filter for the TH350?
Maybe there is a quality difference?
What filter do you guys prefer for the th350 (1977)?
Does your new pan have extra capacity? If so, you will need a filter with a extension (spacer) to place the unit deeper into the pan. Maybe that's the extra part numbers you are seeing.

Here’s the best replacement filter. The screen is brass, which makes it durable, cleanable and reusable. Check to see that it has the filter to valve body gasket. Be sure to notice the pan side of the filter is stamped “FRONT”. The filter will bolt/screw on backwards causing a leak that will ruin the trans. Use vasoline to hold the gasket to the VB if assembling under the car. And make line up dolls from 1/4-20 bolts for ease of install for both the filter and the pan.
Sorry for the... very late post.
But I finaly found a supplier in the Netherlands who sells the filter I need (the type you guys suggested)!
Coronacrisis yes... but he sells by post.
