Another A/C question
So my home quarantine project has been replacing the factory air conditioning system on a 79. Every single component has been replaced, including all lines and hoses. I've converted it to R-134a with a parallel flow condenser. The shop manual says the system takes 6 ounces of oil, the new compressor was pre filled with 3 ounces (yes I verified). So with the parallel flow condenser, the system is slightly different from original. My question is does the system still require the full 6 ounces of oil? I haven't found any reference to this and just wanted to make sure before I charge the system. (or have it professionally charged)
