Your sticker calls for 20 front 26 rear but a would not run a modern radial below 30 PSI cold.

This, or even more. I think mine are at 35. Check the max rated pressure of the tire, and keep it below that.

When I was a kid at the shop we always put in 32 lbs. I would say that would be a great place to start and adjust as necessary. I run 30 lbs in my Firestone indys 235/55/17. I get up to speed then swing the wheel left and right when no one is around and feel if the car is responsive or sluggish and whether is feels like it slides into the turn or holds its weight. Its easier with taller side wall tires. I do it in my truck everytime I head to work to see if my tire pressure has changed. It works once you know your vehicle

Door sticker is for 40 year old tire design. Start a couple pounds below sidewall max psi and adjust from there.

Corvettes don't have the extra weight in the rear to overheat the tires.

Smooth/soft ride = 30 psi front tires...…...…….26 psi rear tires (eliminates rear "bounce")

Firm ride/feel-the-road ride 32+ psi all 4 tires...….

(my rookie opinion)

Those are the tires on my '73. They are old/need to be replaced, do you know if those tires are still available? I've searched all the tire places (that I know of) and the interweb and I can't find any.
