i was able to do it similarly to that link. i was able to fit a 1/4 ratchet and shallow socket. I removed the rattle cushions to tilt the glass away. and removed the lower window guide stops, to lower the glass further.
I wouldnt recommend you do it if your car was resprayed and masked off, you might lift paint off with the gasket.
