It's not just the US. I lived in Toronto for 25 years, and it was a universally accepted fact that if somebody in a car did something stupid, rude, or dangerous, (or all three), it was usually a BMW or a Mercedes. Maybe they're mad because they spent twice as much money for a car that' only a tiny bit better, if that.

Made a 60 mile trip on I-12 today in my work vehicle. Saw a C7, one C4 and maybe a C5 (or newer 4) on the way back. No other Vettes the whole way there or back- certainly no C3’s or 2’s.
I think there ended up being almost 30 at our meet last night that I posted the picture of with more than one from every generation (except only one C8) never saw that many at one wish we all parked together so I could get a picture of them all
Sorry but we all expect to see them at car shows. Quit being. I’ll stop myself right there because I’m the guy that actually enjoys driving Mary Belle. Car show only drivers really don’t count. Just my humble opinion
