I live in S.C. Where it gets pretty hot in the summer. I will be headed to Michigan for 3 months this summer without our C3. It will be covered and garage kept. My question is, Does anyone have any ideas about putting something in the interior to keep the humidity down? I was thinking Damp-Rid which we use in our RV. But wondering if there is something else that people use. Thanks
Dollar Tree has oval shaped tubs that once you remove the top seal works almost as good as Damp-Rid. What I like is that the unit is spill proof so if its tipped over water does not come out. I put one on the front passenger side floor and one in the back.. In the spring there is almost two inches of water in the tub. And that's with a garaged car.
Other than that, like Ralph said, disconnect NEG side of Batt. Put a good cover over the car and you are good to go.
Myself, I like to release the hood and tension on the latch springs. Might want to put a Battery Tender on for the three months too.

The best way, would be to air condition the garage. If you have a window that would accommodate an A/C unit, would be the most economical way.
We have a home in Englewood FL and go north for the summer. I leave the A/C on 80 degrees and put damp rid in all the closets. Upon returning in the fall, all the damp rid bags are full, even with the de-humidifying action from the A/C. So I believe damp rid bags placed in a car in your garage would become full in a short time.
Make your last fill up with ethanol free gas and make sure it makes it in the carburetor. It will save a lot of problems later on.
Can't buy alcohol free gas here in So Cal. I buy alcohol free racing gas when I know the 68 is going to be setting for a while. Pretty pricey! I try to buy lead free so it's also compatible with the 08.
