telescopping steering wheel? c3?

I have a short question if any one can answer, because i can not find a clear cut answer, dose all the C3 corvette's come with telescoping steering wheel? reason i ask is that i am a hefty guy to say the least and i am interested in a forum members corvette he has listed for sale , but i fear i would be uncomfortable/unable to drive it as i would like . thanks in advance guys/gals

Hello, no the tele-scoping tilt wheel were options on all c3's before I think 78. Somebody else can chime in with more.

Standard column - no adjustment .
Tilt and Tele column - available as an option on 69 onwards on all c3.

Too, the tilt/tele range is nowhere near the adjustment capabilities of modern cars.

ya i kinda figured as much, i really want a c3, but hard to sqeez my fat but into one with the tele wheel , and jst down right uncomfortable , makes me not even wanna drive it , and what worst then having that beauty and drive it, makes me crazy, i have to find one with tele or drop about 60lbs lmao

The tilt tele column can be swapped into the C3 pretty easily. They are a little pricey anywhere from 400 for a beater to 1100 or so for a fully restored one.

THe aftermarket ones are universal and seem to tilt down more than up which is an issue for me too. I bought the IDIDIT columns and a 14 inch wheel for my 68. Im chubby about 15-20 lbs over
