I've been on the hunt to get LED headlights but every post required modifications to the housing. Well GREAT NEWS!! I found these from Ebay and they fit like a glove without ANY modification. Absolutely plug and plug.
You can try to find other designs but make sure it's the same size as these:
Plug Mode: H4 (directly replace all 5-3/4" 3 prong lights), if your plug is not H4 mode, you will need a plug adapter
LED Chips: 5W*12pcs Cree chips
High Beam Power: 60W
Low Beam Power: 30W
High Beam Lumen: 6,000LM
Low Beam Lumen: 3,000LM
Light Temperature: 6,000K (Xenon White)
Voltage: DC 9-32V (fit 12V, 24V vehicles)
Waterproof: IP68
Working Temperature: -45 ~+85°C
Material: Diecast aluminum alloy housing
Lens material: PC
Lifespan: 50,000 Hours
Warranty: 5 Years
I wonder how the basic specs compare to stock and other options? Especially quality of light and wattage. Having CREE chips is a good thing.
I had planned to do the relay conversion to my '73 to get better light but now wondering if something like this would work without the need for the relays. Or maybe they work that much better with the relays and a bit better voltage. Hmmm indeed - got me thinking.

DC
The relays allow you to drop the high wattage at the foot dimmer switch, it made a difference on my 76.
Here are some quick pictures from last night. Rain was coming in and out so didn't have much driving time. Took her around the neighborhood and the lights are definitely bright. The beams are even from what I can see and I didn't do any adjustment other then to have the bulbs lined up horizontally during installation. Might be blinding people but I can see the road. At first I thought I had the high beam on but realized how much brighter when I turned it on.

Wow that looks great but there is something on the hood blocking your line of sight!
4pcs 5 3/4" 5.75" Projector LED Headlights Sealed Beam fit for Peterbilt 359 348
I would have never even considered these.....
Lights for a big rig on a Corvette. Best thing is...there is NO Corvette TAX. $78 for all 4 lights and here I was looking at some of these kits that cost close to a grand.

Those should work but it's 79mm so it will stick out a bit. You'll have to use longer #8 screws. I only know this because I found a youtube video and the led lights he used stick out so he used longer #8 screws to attached the rings. I thought I had to do the same but turned out I didn't have to since mine were 70mm.

I like the looks of these; the ones in the OP seem a little too modern looking for a C3, IMO. But I'm a bit hesitant to buy not knowing if it'll take significant modification to install (wiring, housing, etc.)

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but now that I think about it, when the lights are off they will be down and no one can see them and when they are on no one should be looking directly into them.
