Default Incorrect fuel pump?

I ordered a fuel pump from Rockauto.com and it is incorrect. I think. The original pump is about 3/8" longer. In order to use it I would have to bend up the line to the carb or fabricate a new line. The original says "AC" on the mounting neck so I am assuming it is original or at least an original replacement. It does not appear the fuel line to the carb was modified to make it fit.

The second issue is the mounting holes are too small. The original screws will not pass through the holes. Not even close. That is a huge flaw that I should not have to correct.

So, has anyone experienced a shorter replacement pump? This is going back for sure but I need to know if I am just going to have to accept a shorter replacement and modify the fuel line, or is the correct pump available?

Clearly wrong pump. Maybe boxed wrong. What brand & PN was ordered & what was received?
Regardless ... Suggest you take this up w/ RA & share same pics.

Already in touch with ra. They referred me to their return page which irritates me since last time they made me pay return shipping. They literally sent me parts that were listed for my car that are incorrect. [SPARK PLUGS]. Then I had to pay shipping for them to correct it. So I incurred shipping costs twice for the originals and once for the replacements. Enough shipping costs to just run up to the store and buy them.

Their prices seem good and it is nice to compare different brands, but it is a hassle when stuff is screwed up.

These 2 incidents have certainly taught me a lesson about buying locally or from a Corvette specific vendor vs Rockauto.com.

Despite their commercials, I have never bought from Rockauto. The few parts I have looked up on the site, when shipping was added, I was able to purchase locally for less than a dollar more from one of the chain parts houses. If RA charges return shipping for their mistake, I won't consider them in the future. If I have a problem with a purchase, I would rather deal locally instead of trading emails with an out of state company.

Don't be rude. The part ordered was the part received.
MF0026. Look it up on RA under 1975 corvette if you need to.
